Why is ValidateJOB significant

As of 4/10/2012, the number of unemployed persons was 14 million with an unemployment rate of 9.2%.

Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (9.6%), adult women (7.6%), teenagers (23.6%), whites (8.3%), blacks (15.5%), Hispanics (11.9%) and Asians 7.1%.

The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks and over) was 6.26 million. These individuals accounted for 44.5% of the unemployed.

With 3.5 million job openings (in March 2012), we estimate an average of 4 applicants per job and this situation only gets worse and compounded as most applicants apply for multiple jobs.

At times, this leads to a situation where potential employers receive as many as 100+ applicants per job.

This challenging situation requires that an applicant differentiate themselves from the rest of the crowd. By demonstrating confidence, integrity and initiative in addition to their skills, they are able to stand out as a job applicant to an employer.
